CCM Summer Block Party!

We know it’s still spring, but here at C.C. Mellor Memorial Library we’re thinking about SUMMER and we are ready to get the party started!

Mark your calendars for May 31 and plan to join us from 4 to 7 p.m. at Westinghouse Lodge in Forest Hills for our Summer Block Party! We’re celebrating the start of our summer learning program with an evening of fun for all ages.

Check out just a sampling of what we’ve got lined up:

  • Creative movement and activities with Attack Theater
  • A dinosaur-shaped tent and fossils from the Carnegie Museum of Natural History
  • Glass blowing demos with Pittsburgh Glass Center
  • A fire truck
  • Giant puppets
  • Live music from members of the Edgewood Symphony and Dave Caparosa
  • Dad’s Pub & Grub food truck (cash or card)
  • Tons of games and activities for the whole family
