In accordance with the mitigation order issued by Gov. Wolf on December 12, C.C. Mellor Memorial Library will continue offering curbside-only service until at further notice. At this time, the library does not have a date set to reopen the building to the public. Likewise, the library has no plans to stop curbside-only service unless directed by authorities to do so.
Patrons are encouraged continue to place holds on items and call the library for contactless curbside pickup of those items. Library staff will be available to assist via phone (412-731-0909) Monday-Saturday 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
Curbside pickup service is available at both CCM Edgewood and CCM Forest Hills. Place library materials on hold through the online catalog or by calling:
- CCM Edgewood: 412-731-0909, Monday-Saturday 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
- CCM Forest Hills: 412-436-2390, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
Items on CCM’s shelves will be ready for pickup the same day. Items on hold from other libraries typically arrive in 7-10 days. When picking up your holds via contactless curbside pickup, please wear a mask, practice proper social distancing (stay 6 feet away from others) and pay attention to posted signs.
Please monitor the library’s social media channels, website and email newsletter for updates. Contact the library directly (412-731-0909 or firstname.lastname@example.org) with any additional questions.
