History of Trains

This event has been postponed. We will update you when we have a new date scheduled. Thank you.

David T. Kelsch will share his extensive knowledge of the region’s history of trains and railroads as well as stories about his experiences as owner of The Grand River Railway, a restored independent rail line that runs from Youngstown, Ohio to Lake Erie.  As a result of his efforts, the Grand River Line has been transformed from an abandoned and dormant line into an active, revenue-producing railroad. Mr. Kelsch has completed a new book on the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroads.

No registration is required for this event. We will meet in the community room at CCM Forest Hills/Forest Hills Borough Building.
