How to Be Your Own Healthcare Advocate

Update: The postponed April event at CCM Edgewood has been rescheduled for Monday, June 12th, from 6 – 7 p.m.

Jeff Weinberg, President of Caregiver Champion, will give a presentation discussing how the healthcare systems work and don’t work, and how to advocate for yourself within those healthcare systems.

The talk is based on his book, The Emperor Needs New Clothes or Why The Caring Disappeared from Health Care. His book offers additional real-life solutions, resources, and a call to action to help patients and their families put an end to the nightmare that is our healthcare system. Copies will be available for purchase at the end of the presentation.
