Patrons have a new option for accessing library services with the launch of the Allegheny County Libraries mobile app, available now for free from the App Store or Google Play.
Once you’ve downloaded the app and selected C.C. Mellor Memorial Library or CCM Forest Hills as your home library, you can begin to access the resources typically found at our locations plus more. For instance, you can register your library account within the app and get access to your checkout record, holds and reading history. You can also create a digital library card to use when you’re visiting the library in person.
Parents can even link your child’s card to your own, allowing you to access multiple accounts.
In addition, you’ll be able to access eBooks, our eLibrary resources, databases, RAD Pass, view our upcoming programming, read our e-newsletters, check items out yourself by scanning the barcode while at the library and more!
Download the app today to start exploring. Questions? Ask a librarian! We’re here to help!
